How our health insurance service works
We arrange private health insurance for international residents in Spain and explain it in English. This page sets out what happens at each stage, and the standard we hold ourselves to while it happens.
What happens, stage by stage
You tell us about your circumstances. A short form or a conversation: ages, province, household, start date, and a flag if medical history may be relevant. Our forms deliberately do not ask for detailed medical history — where health details matter, they are discussed privately through a secure, consented process and used only for that purpose, as set out in our privacy policy.
We identify a suitable cover route. Structure before price: the level of cover, whether copayments belong in it, and whether a medical-network or reimbursement design fits how you will actually use care.
You receive personalised options and pricing. A person prepares and checks your quote before it is sent. It carries your ages, your province, a date and the exact product it prices, because a figure without those describes somebody else’s policy.
We explain the cover and the important conditions. Waiting periods, exclusions, renewal behaviour and anything your declared history changes — written down rather than mentioned. If a point cannot be confirmed, we say so instead of filling the gap.
You choose whether to proceed. No policy is applied for until you have said yes, and there is no pressure attached to taking your time.
The application and policy are completed. We do the paperwork with you in English, and we remain contactable afterwards. Final eligibility, cover and terms are confirmed before purchase.
The standard behind it
Options depend on age, postcode, household and medical history, and those are checked when your quote is prepared rather than asserted in advance on a web page. Guides on this site are written from documented sources and reviewed on a published schedule under our sources and review policy; corrections are published openly.
If something goes wrong
If any part of the service falls short, tell us through the contact page, or raise it formally using the complaints route set out in our terms and conditions. The same six stages are described from the buying side on how we help you choose health cover.
