What we do
Expat Health Insurance Spain is a specialist health insurance service for people building a life here. We explain how private cover works in Spain, set out the cover options available for your situation — essential and no-copayment cover, family cover, senior options, international cover and medical-history reviews — prepare a personalised quote, and help you arrange the policy. Everything is done in English, by people who do this every day.
Who we help
International residents, retirees, families and people still planning the move. What suits you depends on your age, postcode, household and medical history, which is why we ask about your situation before quoting anything. Final eligibility, cover and terms are always confirmed before purchase.
What we deliberately don’t do
We don’t publish prices, because a real price is personal and dated. We don’t give visa-compliance advice; specialists who work with consular requirements every week do that better, and we point you to them. And we don’t present marketing claims as facts — material claims in our guides carry sources and review dates, under our sources and review policy.
Who is behind it
The service is run by people who have worked in insurance for international residents in Spain for years, and every quote is prepared by one of them rather than generated. How we’re paid
Like most insurance intermediaries, we may receive commission when a policy is arranged. It doesn’t change what a guide says; the separation is set out in our editorial policy. Nor does it decide which cover is recommended to you — that is explained on how we help you choose cover.
