How we help you choose health cover

We are specialists in private health insurance for international residents in Spain. We explain what each level of cover actually does, quote it for your circumstances, and stay with you while the policy is arranged — in English, from first question to first appointment.

The six steps

1. You tell us about your circumstances. Your age and the ages of anyone else to be covered, where in Spain you live or are moving to, your household, any medical history that may be relevant, when you need cover to start, and the hospitals or doctors you would mind losing. Each of those changes the answer, which is why we ask.

2. We identify a suitable cover route. Copayment or no copayment, medical network or reimbursement, resident, family, senior or medical-history cover: the structure is settled before any price is discussed, because a price only means something once the policy behind it is the right shape.

3. You receive personalised options and pricing. Real figures for your ages, your province and your start date — not a headline rate written for somebody else. Named hospitals and doctors are checked against the current medical network before anything is put in front of you.

4. We explain the cover and the important conditions. What is covered, what is excluded, which waiting periods apply and when they end, how the policy behaves at renewal, and anything that turns on your declared history. In writing, in plain English, with the caveats stated rather than buried.

5. You choose whether to proceed. Nothing is arranged until you say so. If the honest answer is that private cover adds less than you expected, or that the timing is wrong, we will tell you that too.

6. The application and policy are completed. We handle the paperwork with you, in English, and stay reachable afterwards — at your first appointment, when an authorisation confuses you, at renewal, and whenever your circumstances change. Final eligibility, cover and terms are confirmed before purchase.

What shapes your options

Age, postcode, household and medical history all shape what is available to you, as does your start date, whether you already have access to public healthcare, and the care you want to keep reaching. None of that can be settled on a web page, which is why steps 1 to 3 exist rather than a price table.
